Gutting a 1968 Streamline travel trailer

This is how the kitchen looked when we got it.

This is how it looks now.

I took the stove & cabinets out. Plan on doing the frig and closets tomorrow.
This is a picture of the rotten floor in the front. I'm removing all the inside and I'm going to replace the floor, then cover it with engineered hardwood flooring.

Toilet is gone. I'll replace the old black water tank with a new one while I have the floor out.

Hot water heater is gone. The hot water heater was just a regular 10 gallon hot water heater that you would have in your house and it wasn't even secured to the floor. Plus the floor is rotten there too.

Since I'm going to the trouble of removing all the inside walls, I'll upgrade the electrical before I put it all back in.

That's about all I accomplished today. I'll work on it some more tomorrow. But I'll soon have to take a break and clean up my shop....it's a mess!!!

  4. Lexee, the pic on the title of my blog is a picture of an airstream remodel by Craig Dorsey called Aidirondack. This is what I'll be aiming for. If I can even come close to having one look this nice I'll be happy with all the work involved.
