A Little Bit of Maintenance

Did a little maintenance on the bird the past two days. Checked out all the batteries and they are all good. A couple of the clamps on the house batteries were loose so they weren't getting charged right. Cleaned out the battery bay and painted it before I put the batteries back in.

I changed the oil and filters for the cummins and the generator yesterday. I think I've sort of figured out how to operate the rear and front A/C's and heaters. That's just a tentative I think I've got it figured out. LOL Every time I think I've got it figured out I try to make it work and something else is not switched correctly.

We took mom to Hobbs for church this morning. Came home and picked up the Bird and drove back to Hobbs to pick her up to test out our cure for motion sickness. She sat up front, ate some ginger candy and voila.......she did great. That's a big relief!

Well, I guess I have to back up a little now that I've finally got all my camera gear into one spot so I could download some pics. Here's a few pics from our trip.

Our rental car in Midland before we left for Jax. Wild green Mazda!

The Bird in it's former home in Jacksonville.

Pond on the property. Darrin (previous owner) and his family have 26 acres in Jacksonville that has their church, homes and some RV hookups.

Patsi relaxing in the airport.

Another shot of the pond.

The front of their church.

Another view of the bird in it's former nest.

Patsi and I getting ready to leave for Venice.

Kind of a tight fit in Venice at Pat's house.

Easier to get out than it was to get it in.

Lot of projects to get going on. Hopefully the guy across the street will get released by his doc next week and I'll have some help. Trying to get ready to extend my RV shed, patio cover on the rear of the shop, concrete for the patio then onto other things.

Until next time.....
